I have that exact mouse. One thing I did in the Razor control panel was to map a left 'thumb button' to 'CTRL'. I can then, with a combination of my thumb and finger, lock a target from my overview. Makes it super quick.

I don't actually use the wheel or any of the other buttons for Vent PTT. I prefer to use the keyboard. So far, I haven't run into any problems with it, but I'll keep an eye out for issues like that. Thanks for the heads up.

FYI I had an extremely similar Razor mouse. Might not have been the Lachesis. Anyway looks the same except the light up wheel. The problem I had was that Ventrilo would randomly not recognize the wheel click for PTT. I spent months getting frustrated by this until one day I was bitching about the issue on vent and someone asked if I was using a Razor mouse. Sure enough, since switching mice I have not had the issue again. So just be aware if you run into that issue you may want to look to the mouse.

That is an interesting approach, screen goes blank and probably ATI drivers are to blame, solution: buy a new computer :D
I would have loved to fiddle around with it until its clear what the cause was, however I do respect your call for a new PC which you seemed to have wanted for a while then. It's not everyone's cup of tea.

I would suggest you do scamming on an alt, not your main.

When you kill a ship on station, he has 30 seconds before he can session change again. That means that he either has to wait 30 seconds and dock or warp away and warp back later to dock. Holding a pod ransom on a station is iffy at best unless you think you can give him a 20 second ultimatum.

Someday I hope that CCP will cause points to preclude docking or gate jumping. Traditional hisec PvP might actually become meaningful then, and it'd be a boon to you flashy red types.
